well for those of u who might have not checked their uni. mail- i just wanted to post this e-mail that i got that would affect most of the ppl. doing eng1800.

Students in ENGG1800 Intro to Engineering Disciplines,

As many students had a clash with the 12 noon lecture on Wednesdays, the
lecture time has been changed.

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday 17 March):
for GROUP 1 (civil) - 1:00 pm, Civil Engineering Lecture Room 1
for GROUP 3 (Aero, Mech, Mechatronics) - 1:00 pm, PNR Lecture Theatre

Starting next week (Wednesday 24 March):
for Group 2 (Chemical) - 1:00 pm, Chemical Engineering Lecture Theatre 1

ALSO, you should ALWAYS wear fully enclosed shoes to the practical sessions.

Thats crap, I don't have a clash, but at least I have lunch one hour earlier :)

It was pretty funny in our chem eng tute, heaps of people got sent away because they didn't have shoes, or money to buy safety stuff.

Oh yeah, I have a couple people I know who flew planes.

OK, get this. I am walking past some plane flying, then past a tower being built, and we have to pay $36 (glasses/lab coat/notes) just to be able to make soap. How fucking exciting. Then you need to wait a couple of hours for the soap to solidify, it is so incredibly weak. Then I saw my friends walking by the window, while I stayed until almost 6 for the fucking thing to finish.

Chem eng. is so crap, bring on Civi/Mech I say, at least I get it over and done with. Oh, and I know the guy who got the furthest in the plane throwing too :p

well there was only a certain distance our planes could fly, coz it was inside a room, and once it hit the wall at the end of the room, u can't go any further...anyways, my plane came like second, as i missed that wall by just a few inches- coz i didn't wind the propeller enuf!!! :( ...i would've been more annoyed if they gave out prizes though. :D
