With special glasses, just look at the sun and you should be able to see it. Don't look at the sun directly thoughit's a clear blue sky in newcastle

You can project the image of the sun onto a piece of paper or something, either using a telescope, binoculours or a piece of cardboard with a pinhole in it (although this might not give you sufficient resolution to actually see the shadow of venus, it'll be pretty damn small)it's a clear blue sky in newcastle
