hey guys and girls which ticket would i need to buy to go to and from uni if i am going to catch the train from strathfield station to parramatta station then the bus from parramatta station to uws

i know i have to buy the bus, train and ferry one but which colour?

It depends - cause you can also use them outside of uni ... so if you do things on the weekend, you can use them as well. I know the purple ticket which lets you go everywhere costs $27.

But i'd be guessing by saying its the yellow ticket.

Jennifer, you have to check and make sure that the weekly train/bus and ferry tickets are not going to cost you more?

I found out that weekly train/bus and ferry tickets were going to cost me heaps more than if i got seperate tickets because i didn't go to uni everyday.

So each day I brought a train ticket and I also brought a travel ten bus ticket for sydney buses. They are great -because they are cheaper than paying your fair each day and it lasts for ten trips- doesn't matter how long it takes u to use it.

from parra station to uws get the student concession brown travel ten. You buy this at any railway station ticket office when you get your normal train ticket. From memory a brown travel 10 costs just under $10.

Don't bother with the monthly Jen.

Theres no monthly, only quarterly and yearly - which students can't buy cause cityrail thinks that we are porvo.

so what should i buy one every day? because i only go to uni 3 days and therefore a weekly would be a waste

Since your catching a bus as well, I'd advise you to buy a travel 10 - it will save you fumbling around for spare change. Just buy a ticket for the train every day.
