I'm really confused between the normal galvanic cell and the electrolytic cell, especially differentiating between the cathod and anode in the elctrolytic, r they switched or what?

In galvanic cells, the cathode is the +ve terminal while the anode is the -ve terminal and in electrolytic cells the terminals are switched so cathode is -ve and anode is +ve.

However the electron flow is the same, anode to cathode, in both of the processes

reduction ALWAYS happen in cathode and oxidation ALWAYS happen in anode... that's how i remember it, and never failed me...

Here's a way of remembering what ziao1985 said
REDCAT and ANOX
Reduction at cathode and oxidation at anode

Hahah, whoops, didnt see the date... But that's really weird. There was a link to this from another forum (i dont go wandering through past threads, at least, I dont think so *frown*), so it was 'used' recently or something. Maybe a moderator just moved it.
