hey guys, was wondering if anyone can tell me the construction of turbines as well as it's roles in a reactor?

I thought turbines are generators in as sense the coils moves in magnetic field generates votlages and so one...

In reactors, water is vaporised into steam and the steam drives the turbine and convert the kinetic energy into electrical energy...


I THINK...

Turbines generate electricity in a nuclear power plant. The nuclear reaction heats water and the steam turns turbines which moves coils in a magnetic field. Basically it acts as a glorified steam engine.
