is anyone going to those uni advisory days? i don't know if i'll go because i don't know what they're all about. are they going to convince us to put their uni down as a preference? most of them are on the same day which is inconvenience if you wanted to check out macq and unsw on the same day....

i think im going to sydney uni open day..........i have nothing betta to do that day anyway...and there will seminars and stuff which give u more info on ur selected course

well that is a good reason to go to them

it is mainly for those who are still unsure about their preferences and/or need further reinforcement about certain courses and also to show off the uni once again to persuade the student to put their uni on their preference list

Anyone is welcome at the uni Advisory Days. More information for each uni's info/advisory day is available in each uni's forum (those that have been made).

i dont have a problem with the open days being on jan 5th, but why is the deadline jan 6th. i only have a day to finalise my prefs, thats harsh (need executive decisions -quick!)

nahh I went to the info day last year and it was really helpful. Not essential but it wont do u any harm

i think the advisory days are equivalent or fairly similar to the course info days that took place on Sept. The only differences is that advisory day are last minute help to finalising your decision about your preferences.
