how do you find out what places uve been offered at uni? and what date can u find out? thanks

19th jan 9pm - offers released online
20th jan - newspaper is out (which you can get around 11pm on the 19th jan at some petrol stations. One being the Mobil in Ashfield

yeh thats what i had hoped for
but it says soin the UAC book and online that they're e-released at 9PM
hopefully someone will hack their servers heh

they also said the results are in the paper on the 20th
so the paper will be available on the 19th late at night... prob easier to just check online

9pm seems a strange time for them to release the offers - I got mine last year at 9am, although i did sneak out and buy the newspaper before hand

Just remembered - last year the papers were on sale at 9pm and offers were released online at 9am.

Last year someone found a link to the 2004 cutoffs for all courses and uni's, the night before the offers were released.

Last year the UAI cutoffs were found three days before offers were released, and if UAC is as predictable as last year that won't change. Let's hope flyin' can be bothered.

Also, last year offers were released at 0900 and the paper came out that day (but it was bought by many the night before release).

Preliminary Round
Main Round
Late Round
and
Final Round to me?

What are the chances of a person getting an offer in the Prelim Round? The required UAI + higher?

Prelim round is more for people that have deferred or applied for courses with other requirements other than UAI. The Main round is where most UAI based places are offered and places in the two rounds after the main are offered if to people who did not get their first preference and there are still places available in the course they want.
