Using Ivory Trail and another visual as related.. (1 Viewer)

I'm planning to use Ivory Trail and a cartoon as my only related text. However, they're both visual texts, and I've lost marks before for using 2 poems (skrzynecki and journey to the interior). Do you think I will be penalised for using 2 visuals? Or because one is a book cover and the other is a cartoon (hagar the horrible), are they different enough?

You won't be penalised directly for using two visual texts, because that's not one of the guidelines they mark by. HOWEVER, using two visual texts limits the variety of techniques you can discuss to back up your theses, and that might cost you. If you can manage to talk about different techniques for each text, I think you'll be right. =)
