VET Hospitality Exam Optional? (1 Viewer)

My teachers told me that it is optional to sit the Hos. exam im not doing the exam but my friend is unsure whether she has to or not, can someone confirm that you dont have to?

you don't have to, but if you want an atar you must have at least 10 units. If your friend does 10 units or more they don't have to do it.

You don't have to but then it won't be one of your HSC subjects.

You don't have to sit the exam for hospo, though it depends on how much units you have.. If you have 10 units and choose not to do the exam then you won't receive a ATAR :/ But if you do over 10 units then it should be fine to not sit the exam.. though I don't know why you wouldn't but yeah :) I mean if she doesn't want an ATAR then you can..
