I've got a study guide for the film witness, but it's at home, so when i get home today i'll post again with the temes of the movie...

To my memory the themes were things like traditional and modernity...and that's all i remember...MY MEMORY IS FAILING ME...it's been a while since i last looked at it.

the themes of the movie are:
- the clash of cultures
- pacifism and violence
- innocence and corruption
- responsibilty and choice
- community spirit and isolation

I hope that helps...soz it took awhile

I you want some techniques which reinforce the themes that are presented in the movie symbolism is a good one..
for example;
Doors, jacob's suit worn by Book, all indicated that it was impossible for Book to live in an amish community and start a relationship with Rachel.
