Hello,

I'm asking a question on behalf a friend who asked me something rather interesting that i didn't know the answer to.

She wants to know: when she should tell Centrelink about her TWO WEEK temporary employment? Like when she gets paid by her employer or after her last shift..
etc

She earned about $300 in 2 weeks from 5 shifts. But is no longer employed by them because it was temporary work.

So, when does she have to Centerlink...
Also, how much should she expect to be taxed from her gross income?

Thanks, for any help.

Absolutely William, if she is still not paid for still for her work then she has to inform them about this. It would be better and moreover, it is also a matter of ethics as how you want to be dealt with and thought off. I think that this in something that would though, a little late, have a better impact on the mind of the employer.

She told Centrelink. Everything's good.
Turns out her tax was very minimal about $3 only.

Thats lucky, if she didn't they probably would have found out and she Might have been fined and lost her youth allowance.
