My school broke term 2 up into two novels: The Great Gatsby and Othello - topic: Tragedy.

Othello was indeedy the best, but TGG? Ug, warning from now, if u are going to do it, then beware of very crappy novel!

The best part about doing drama...we're doing Othello in drama too! :p

we did othello and great gatsby. i hated studying othello because it was a critical study where we had to talk about feminism and marxism etc..., but the story wasnt bad. great gatsby i thought was a great book and wasnt bad to study either.

yeah i've got a complete critical study + complete full mark essay on Othello
critical study is to do with the Area of Study: Personal Power (how the characters have been empowered or disempowered). I also have an essay on contrast and similarities between the play 'Othello' and the film 'O'.
Just give me a buzz if u need any

yeahh.. we're doing othello aswell.. except we're watching two versions of it (the BBC version and the one with Lawrence Fishburne [i know i spelt it wrong]).. but yeah.. only seen the BBC one.. and thats the most boring video i've ever seen for english.. we've got to watch both and compare.. something to do with interpretations.. i think... shows my attention span...
