Hello, and welcome to the NCAP forum. As you can no doubt see, this particular part of the BOS forums allows all the chance to participate in a variety of debates with others of a similar age. At times the debates can be frustrating, enlightening, boring and/or exciting, but such diversity of experience is just part of the fun .
Of course, it stands to reason that there are limits to what one can say. However, these limits are reasonably broad, and members should be fine provided that they follow the Forum rules. In addition to these rules, it would be a great help if all could use the search function before creating a thread in order to ensure that recent (and timeless) threads are not duplicated. If members could both follow the rules and do their part to avoid unnecessary instances of duplication, there should be little need for the intervention of a moderator. However, should something be amiss, members are advised to make use of the 'Report Bad Post' function.
As the above paragraph suggests, the way in which this forum operates is dependent upon the actions of the members. With this in mind, one hopes that all who participate within this forum play their part in ensuring that the debates are kept clean and that instances of abuse are reported.
Moving on, some may find the nature of this forum somewhat overwhelming. With this in mind, the Politics and Argument guide provides a number of useful ideas and links that are sure to be of some interest. Now, as you can see, some parts of it require a bit of work, so feel free to add constructive comments to the thread if you have something to contribute.
Another point of call for those entering the forum may be the following two threads: Where do you stand? and The Party for you. When taken together, these threads should allow one a chance to get a general feel of where the other members of the forum stand in a political sense.
Finally, above the NCAP forum proper there is a sub-forum for Light and Off-beat News items. Please visit this thread for an overview of what constitutes light and off-beat news.
Have fun .
