Hey

I know there has been discussions about pens before, but what do you guys think of felt tip pens in exams...i seem to think they help me write faster as you're not trying to drag your hand across the page rather, it glides.

Although the papermate kilometrico pens are good value for money...but sometimes they do leak, anyone else find that?

Re: Felt Tip Pins etc?

I've heard from people that using a felt tip pen is a very bad idea, I can't remember why exactly though. To me it would just feel... weird, lol.

No, my have never leaked and they last for aaages.

Re: Felt Tip Pins etc?

um. is this for real?
because i mean, as long as your pen isnt running on nil ink ive never really measured pen efficiency in terms of the amount of drag caused by the type of tip.

this thread has been enlightening.

Lol, the type of people who worry about this type of thing also tend to bring 50 + pens into the exam room- "just in case". (Plus 5 calculators, lol)

well actually i am not one of those people ..lol i don't even do maths ..hence, no need for a calculator

but then that being said its better to be prepared, some people turn up with one pen without a lid and are like 'can we start?'

lol i dont think you can write without angling your pen at least a little

I use Kilometrico pens for everything I do, even at work! They're the way to go, since they last forever (well, that's how it seems) and are pretty neat.

Re: Felt Tip Pins etc?

maybe some of you are thinking of gel pens, not felt tip

felt tip pens by artline dry instantly

however, you can get gel pens and they tend to be highly glossy and have a propensity to smudge

Re: Felt Tip Pins etc?

This might sound stupid, but for every exam

Each morning of i have grabbed as many pens as i can from around the house.
Chucked them all into a plastic sleave.

and while at school used which ever one i grab out.
Pens dont bother me that much
