On average, what is the margin of errors for these ATAR calculators ( namely Matrix)
im guessing plus or minus 1 ATAR point... it cant be more right

Also, do these calculators tend to over or under estimate?

I had mine overestimated by around 2.5 points last year.

I think one calculator was over by two, the other by three.

Yeah, still got into the course though. Only needed something like a 70-75 to get into my double degree (because it was partly interview based), so there was no real worry.

EDIT:
what was your UAI?
Ended up with 82. Didn't really care though. All I cared about was getting high enough into uni, which like I said, was no problem.

ahhh crap... all my estimates so far have given me 95.something!!!

i hope i get that!!
even though i sooo dont deserve it haha

Try not to worry about it. From what I've heard, mine's a pretty rare case. Luckily it didn't affect my uni acceptance.

hahahah man i use matric and got 93.85....

hope they dont overestimate by more than 1.20.... or else ><
