I know how to calculate WAM, but I was just wondering if anyone knew if/what the weighting for different subjects was based on year??

This is for the business school and the faculty of arts

Thank you

HSC
N/A
it's based on credit.

so a course with 6 credit points is worth double than a course with 3.

Ok, so first year/junior units of study (eg ECON1001) have the same weighting as senior units of study (eg ACCT2011)?

It differs from faculty to faculty, look it up. Off the top of my head the Science faculty at Usyd have their own seperate WAM (in addition to your actual WAM) where they weight subjects a little differently.
