undergrad degree which complements postgraduate law

If you are choosing your undergrad degree merely as a precursor to a JD/LLB(G), you should probably just do law undergrad. There is no other disclipline which will necessarily 'complement' law or prepare you for it. Something involving the written word would help, but then again any discipline...

    Law and HSC subjects

To thrive in legal education, you will need: -excellent comprehension and written expression -strong analytical reasoning -work ethic The first two will be well-developed in the humanities. English is often trotted out as an indicator of suitability for law at uni, but I would suggest that...

    Question!

My legal dictionary and stat interpretation textbook (Pearce and Geddes) give me no love on the meaning of 'prescribed'. However, I'm confident that it refers only to delegated legislation. Certainly, the judiciary doesn't 'prescribe' new provisions into legislation--they only interpret such...

[Serious] Law students, do you have a life?

Depends how good you are, and what you want. I aim for Ds and HDs. Law school hinders my social life, but only because I actively choose to prioritize good marks over going out during the semester. I imagine that I could cruise by on Cs with a whole lot less work and a whole lot more...
