I got into vet science this year at USYD, and to be honest they didnt seem as picky with the work experience as like CSU. I didn't have any experience with farm animals, but around 80 days with domestic animals through my local vet clinic just from doing work experience in my holidays in years...

Jewls im not really sure why you think you need to prove to us that this degree is going to be useless when clearly we all want to do it? We all still want to do it...why is it that you hate vet degrees so much? Just sayin its not great to be insulting vet science in a thread full of vet...

Definately don't break up during HSC, especially if youve been going out with that parnter for a long time, I'd gone out with my boyfriend for 2 and a half years before the HSC started and we had a bit of a breakup not to do with HSC at the end of year 11 and I couldn't concentrate at all...

To be honest, I found the practice ones relatively easy and was getting right up near 200/200 but I found the actual test a lot harder than the practice ones and was really upset because I thought I didnt pass but I got 157 and I got into vet for 2013 :) just try your hardest, its not as hard as...

do not panic now... the real panic begins the holidays before trials to the end of hsc which is already a long time haha don't stretch it out over the whole year. there are some really fun times to year 12 so just try not to worry too much for now :) it usually works out better than you think it...

How come you know so much about this? Do you also want to do vet science? :) Whether employment is falling or not it will be an amazing career with so many opportunities I wouldnt turn it down for the world.

thanks, i got in :) i wonder why employment is falling if only 140 vets graduate a year...youd think there would be a lot of employment opportunities. Oh well im psyched that I got in :D
