    i very much agree that dog was more of a metaphor than the poem being ABOUT a dog! the tail stuff can be considered to be symbolic of the persona attempting to retrace the town/area/city place... and overall as a dog is symbolic of sniffing around and just observing the changes in the town/...

    i guess its good that at least for some ppl the hsc timetable is good..i got ext eng and ipt on the same day..some of my friends have visual arts and chem on the same day..but wait there's more... jap and eng adv on the same day....how much cramming can they expect a person to do..
