Nah man, i dont know why its in my profile, lol, but i'm in year 12 now, not HSC though as im in ACT

Well apparently 5/6ths of the people that apply get interviews....
I heard the UAI average for the 2005 or 2004 co-op finance program was 99.7, im probably gonna be in the 98's and my extracurricular activities arent that great so i aint gonna have much of a chance of actually getting in. I still want an interview though, itd be a good experience for future job interviews. Yourself??

pretty good extra curricular stuff
uai is pretty crap...also around 98s
not sure about my chances. so far the ppl applying are like brilliant at everything.

I only applied for actuarial studies, had heaps of extra curricular activities to talk about, and marks are pretty alright

For actuarial, you need around 99.5 or so, and very good extra curiculars. School sport wont cut it.

Isnt there going to be heaps of sponsor companies for the actuarial studies co-op program this year? The number of "current" Finance sponsor companies have gone down

just remember there is much demand for actuaries in aus. Try searching for a job on seek or seek executive. there arent many.

lol..anyone applying for engineering co-op? or is it just all actuaries? if it hasnt changed, it seems like the cutoffs for engineering are a lot lower...like a mate of mines on co-op engineering n he only got like 96. something, mind you his extracurricualrs were mindblowing......
