attached table of the hsc marks and scaled marks of last year. e.g. Agriculture (2nd from the list) had 1362 students, their exam mean mark was 34.2 (68%), which was scaled down to 20.7 (41%). The next columns are SD (standard deviation, i.e. how the marks are spread out), maximum mark, P99 (top 1%), P90 (top 10%), etc. For Agriculture, the top 10% (P90) exam mark 44 (88%) was scaled down to 37.6 (75%). Another example: English Advanced had 27,217 students, their exam mean mark was 40 (80%), which was scaled down to 31.7 (63%).
