because some subjects allow you to do so.
many marketing 3xxx subs only require you to do 1001.
I could do a particular 3rd year subject in marketing that has 4 prereqs next year, because ive also covered all the needed units.

2XXX and 3XXX are all considered equal senior units so it doesn't make a difference when you do them.

I'll see if I can score it for some engo subjects. I really want to only have 21cp's a semester in 5th year, and I can only do that if I do 30cp a semester for the next 2 years.
