Hey i've been doing some multiple choice questions that our teacher provided us which are probly from a pretty old textbook. Do we need to know how to calculate the multiplier for more than a three sector model? i always thought it was the same for 3, 4 or 5 (1/MPS) but it sez that my answer is wrong :uhoh:
cheers

5-sector model multiplier is called the 'complex multiplier' and was removed from the course a while ago, because it's apparently sooooo difficult.

haha yeah i called the HSC advice line and asked them and they had no idea how to work it out. I ended up working out how to calculate the multiplier in a 4 sector model tho anyway; took some intense algebraic skillz tho.
something to do with C=(autonomous consumption) + MPC(Y - MRT*Y)
anyways i got the right answer in the end
