A Hypothetical regarding Speeches (1 Viewer)

Assume that i was to have an assessment for Advanced English and it was a speech.

Say if i had a stuttering problem (or equivalent speech impediment) that would result in me losing marks and/or result in an unfair advantage. Is there any claim or way, through the BoS or otherwise, that i could somehow be exempt from the assessment (for example, simply be assessed based on a hard copy of the speech, bonus, etc?)

Hypothetically, your teachers should take it into consideration when they're marking. It's unlikely they will mark your down for stuttering etc. but they can't mark you hypothetically just on your hard copy because hypothetically you have to deliver it orally and within a certain time frame, and they use the hard copy only to make sure there's nothing you've hypothetically stolen from other speeches the day before: it's a guarantee of fairness. The only thing you could possibly be disadvantaged on is that it may hypothetically cause you to take longer to deliver the speech.

Talk to your teacher about this maybe. Hypothetically.
