Is the:

Login to "my.mq.edu.au" -> Student Information -> Books accurate?

Like are they the books I should be buying?

Or should I wait until first lecture of all the units, to find out (what I did for 1st semester)?

I just want to get the books to read them and have a headstart on what the unit I am to do, is all about.

Yes that list is pretty accurate, but remember that depending on the unit you may use one book more than another.

It's the trade off for no queue vs getting them later + queue but guaranteed usage.

I would be so peed off if I purchased books in advance and they are not the final recommended books of the lecturer.

Especially given the cost of text books .

Well that's why texts are marked as recommended and required, most units will have been running in a similar style for quite a while so there aren't too many changes.

Just wait until semester starts and go as soon as the store opens. It's a bummer, but you just have to do it once.

you could buy whatever books now - just dont open them. Im pretty sure co-op fully refund any unopened purchases within 2 weeks...
