I am having a dumb moment.

Why do soft drink bottles/cans that have been shaken have a tendency to fizz violently and subsequently 'explode'?

My teacher told me that shaking it would cause the molecules to collide, and produce a big CO2 "bubble", while it breaks surface tension allowing it to escape. Also shaking it would slightly increase temperature, shifting it to CO2 (g)

Its because by shaking it you shift the equlibrium to the left producing more CO_2 which means theres more pressure and then BOOM
