I don't really know any business terms was wondering if anyone can help me out filling this form. Never did a business course so I wouldn't know. I have a few questions to ask of which I don't understand. The ABN Application to cancel registration can be view here.

Is this referring to the person name or the business name?
5. What is the name of the new entity?
Is this referring to the person name or the business name?
7. What is the reason for cancelling the entity's GST registration?
i) the entity has never operated on a GST registered basis, or
ii) the entity stopped or will stop operating on a GST registered basis.
I never started operating business when the ABN registration was in progress, but then I had 2nd thoughts that I won't be starting a business so do I choose option i) the entity has never operated on a GST registered basis for Q. 7?
