Does ANU have alternative admission for people who don't make the cut-off ? I have a UAI of 75.55 and want to get into Arts/Commerce which is 80.00. Do they have some kind of non-award course like Macquarie ? And what's the chance of them accepting me just based on my UAI ?

I don't know about any other thingos, but for law you can write a letter in...check on the ANU site.

none for commerce, its full and hard to get into without the correct mark. arts... i guess they will accept you, with a letter saying you have blah blah blah. Yo will definently get into B IT then transfer.
