I read this, I understand it - but it doesn't make sense. So for example if I score 49% in the final examination, my minimum mark will be 64%? *confused* wtf. someone make sense of this for me! thanks in advance

I think by 'the mininum' they mean 'the lower of'. That's the only way it seems to make sense. Therefore, it's saying that if your exam mark is <54, your overall assessment mark will be either 64 or the mark calculated from all your assessments, whichever is the lower. So if you ace all the assessments but go badly in the exam, you can't get a really high overall mark, because your mark will be capped at 64.

Hmm, but wouldn't it say "If you score less than 55% on the final examination, your final assessment mark will be the [size=+1]maximum[/size] of a mark of 64%" if that was the case?

Its kinda confusing.
