I mean, its not like IPT is a hard subject- and no-one got 100 last year... makes no sense

I'm certainly aiming for 95+

lol, i aimed for 100 in the trial and only got 80 something- but i dont know about you ppl, but i found CSSA 2004 IPT my hardest exam- even harder than physics and maths 2u-

but I lookedat last years IPT HSC- it was seriously a joke in comparison with the trial IMO- could IPT be gaining a sense of prestige in difficulty?

IPT seems relatively easy, I got 91/100 in the trial and hopefully i'm looking on getting at least a band 6 in the HSC.

Last years HSC was a joke compared to our schools trial.

IPT trial was no where near as difficult as the SDD trial.

My year has about 150 people, Scots College is in Bellevue Hill, Near Bondi Beach - Just head east... :p
Nah well we do have 2 classes, but my teacher (Head of computing at my school) is so stupid that i even have to correct him at least 4 times a class, and just to piss him off i ask questions he should know and he just beats around the bush- uses stupid quotes like
"Rule of Thumb"
"Its like showing up to the party without a six pack"
"Nature of the Beast"
"We've run the marathon and are in the last hundres meters"
"We've jumped all the hurdles"

oh god i could go on for hours..

My Software teacher whos doing his masters is so weird..

He says the word "Gentlemen" at least 12 times in a 53 minute lesson, in one week he said it 144 times, i counted :uhhuh: :uhhuh:

99%!!!

Was that an external or internal paper i.e. CSSA or Independant or one just for Scots?

Have you done any of the BOS past papers? What did you get in those

All the best!

I'm aiming for 90+, because I need to bring my overall mark back up (one bad assessment totally screwed me over). 88% in the Trial wasn't anything to complain about, though. :D

sounds good peoples... though after the last few years, i'd think theyd be able to set a hardish test- like its a fairly new course, but I reckon we could be in for a challenge- if its similar, than by all means, we should aim for a top band.

If the CSSA trial was the definition of a 'tough' test, we should all be fine

I reckon, given the broad range of students who do the course- the raw mark for band 6 will be pretty close to 90 all up
