I was thinking to put B.Business (city campus) as one of my preferences, however the UAI cut-off is 93.25 and my UAI is 93.00 .Do you think I will have a good chance to get in? And does anybody know whether B.Business is it like those Commerce course which is highly demanded? Therefore this year UAI cut-off will go up? Or should I not waste a preference and do some other course which I'm more confident in getting into?

Thanks!

If you are that close there's still a chance. As long as you're happy with your other eight preferences (since you do have nine, which is more than plenty) then don't worry about it being potentially "wasted".

Yes definately give it a go. Or apply for the BBus at Kurringai campus.

lol I'm interested in a lot of courses and my 9 preferences are running out! That's why I didn't want to waste a preference if I'm not confident in getting it.

I live down south so the one at Kurringai campus would be too far for me (and I hate travelling over a long period of time). That's why I put down the city campus argh~ but I'm slightly under....fingers cross that I can get into the city campus one!

Thanks for your replies!
:D

The BScCompSci UAI was around 92ish in 2000, but the 2003 UAI for BScIT was around 85ish, so thats a drop of around about the same :p.
