Teenagers charged over school fire

TWO teenagers have been charged with lighting a fire that caused $3 million worth of damage to a school in Sydney's north-west.

Fire crews were called to Bede Polding College in Windsor at 3.30am (AEST) on Saturday, October 11, where they found the administration buildings ablaze.

The fire also threatened to spread to nearby demountable classrooms.

Eight fire engines and two other specialised firefighting appliances went to the blaze.

NSW Police said two 16-year-olds would appear in Windsor Children's Court on October 29 charged with breaking and entering, stealing from a dwelling and malicious damage by fire.

Oh u poor bugger.

That happened 2 us a couple of years back. Fire nearly got the HSC art majorworks.

16 year olds ? did they only destroy the demountables? or the hall as well?

Last year our maths faculty was burnt down two times in a row, one day, after the other. Us seniors got to go home early, the building was too smokey.
