Hey Guys,
Just went up to Advanced.. Standard was too easy, advanced too hard lol.

Anyway,
Im writing my english speech about belonging. Would it be beneficial to include a story to pad it out. Like my own story, 200 words worth? Draw the attention of the markers? Thanks.

No, it is not worth it. Firstly, it's hard to keep the story relevant to both belonging, and your other texts. Secondly, you need to maximise your words on discussing the themes and the texts; you won't have space to 'pad it out'.

You only have a limited amount of time and words. Don't waste them on a story.

i just finished that assignment, our teacher said to include a small story , poem etc to your speech to help being out your understanding of belonging if that makes sense
