What is the best Economics textbook to use for prelim and HSC ?

Tim Dixon (Australia in the Global Economy/The Market Economy) covers the info well and should be easy to understand.
Tim Riley's textbook goes into much more depth if that's your thing.

They're both great imo.

agreed, i would say fork out the money for both of them if your school doesnt already give them to you
