Lost - was (up until Fringe) the most expensive television pilot ever produced and (along with Desperate Housewives) made having a large ensemble cast bankable.
Survivor - arguably the most popular and successful reality television series which is still on the air today in it's eighteenth season.
Seinfeld - the show about nothing which is surprisingly still relevant today and even some of the phrases made famous by the show have common usage.
The Simpsons - the longest running television animated sitcom (in its twentieth season now) proved that cartoons are not only for children.
