i have to write a one page essay on ch10 of BNW buy Huxley.
can anyone help with some issues and quotes in that chapter??

it's bout how the director wants to send Bernard away to Iceland or sth then gets a surprize as bernard brings back linda.

it's like 5 pgs and my teacher wants two issues/ideas/values and two quotes.

and i don't know what to do.....:bomb: *sob*

oh yeh i remember now,

well, the main issue is the destruction of the natural (love of mother) superimposed, by the artifical. Linda is seen as monsterous, because she is OLD and a MOTHER.

The chapter is riddled with irony, you have to say huxley is making a comment on the dangers of conditioning(science) upon the natural.

there are plenty of quotes in there ill leave that to you, although if your having trouble with them ill be glad to help.

just remember that the main issues all confron the idea, of what it is to be human, and what is innate to all of us.

i.e love of mother and old age, the very things that are not allowed in BNW
