Hey, I am just wondering if someone can help me out here. I am in the middle of filling out the online application for the CA Achiever Work Experience Program and it has a question that asks for your average grade. So my question is, should I put my WAM grade or GPA, because they give me different grades:confused:.

Yeah, it says "Average grade over all subjects completed". So you think that is GPA:)?

Haha, yeah I don't want to be an Accountant either. I am just doing it to get a bit of work experience. It wouldn't hurt to have it on your CV either:).

ur right, but if u hav a look @ the "Downloadable summary of questions" part instead of the actual online application it states u need it to be a credit "grade point average for your subjects". For wateva reason it doesnt state it on the online pllication itself.

You just said you didn't want to be an "achiever" though, and that is what this Accounting program is called:p.

I'm not really worried if I don't get in. As I said above, I don't even want to be an Accountant, I am just doing it to get a bit of work experience and to put on my CV:).

Oh, of course, Auditing. I can't believe I didn't think of that. Auditing and Assurance are different things aren't they? I didn't know about the other two options though. Thanks again Minai:).

Yeah, I think I will put down Assurance, Financial Consultancy and Management Consultancy (or I might just put down Consultancy in general). That way I won't have too many possibilities down, otherwise they will think I don't know what I am doing (which is true by the way:p):).

For anyone who wants some more examples of Accounting jobs, have a look at this site and search for "Accounting". It gives you a list of jobs:).
