Hi guys,
I'm from a school ranked about 160, and I am dreaming big.

My final ranks are
2/6 Ext2 maths
4/17 Ext1 maths
5/18 Chemistry
4/15 Physics
11/37 English Advanced

Do you guys think I could still gets a 99.95 ATAR? or even just >99.5 because I have been really dedicated all year and I think I can do well in the exams.

Thanks :)

hi

ummmmmm well 0k like i think you can do good if you keep trying in maths and that

how come ur doin better @ ext 2 maths then 3u isnt it ment to be harder

if u push english into top 10 u might have a chance just keep trying and rmemeber it doesnt matter about ur scaling cos if u jus do gud then u get sick moderation anyway like my mate did cafs and got rank of 5th and it scaled to a high band 5!

Nope. I reckon ATAR is around 55 but with bonus points you might just be able to sneak into your desired course in the Maritime college iirc.

No chance for 99.95. Getting over 98 is already slim considering your ranks.
You need to learns your stuffs about moderation and scalings and alignings and raw marks. The ranks are only 20% or your HSC I am told.

Oh ok yeah good luck with that bro. Worst case, if you don't get in direct, just do Eco at UWS and transfer.

Anyway, let me know how you go. Best of luck with your goal :)

No, you need to learn about scaling, aligning and moderation. My opinion was based on the fact that you were not highly ranked to be getting 98+ ATAR.

The rank is the most important thing about your internals and your internals are worth 50% of your HSC result.

You would be lucky to even get 95 in my opinion.

There is no way you can get 99.95. I honestly think you'd find it pretty impossible to pull above a 97...you're probably looking at low 90s atm.
