this is very basic
for x between 1 and 0
x^(n+1)<x^n
so 1/x^n+1>1/x^n
so from there clearly the inequality with the integrals follow

Since 1/x < 1/y iff x > y, and xn > xn + 1 iff x : [0,1] & n > 0, and integrals represent areas (insofar as HSC) under values, the statement is true.
