hey i gotta chemistry practical exam in 3 days and i was wondering if anyone could help!!

my teach said dat we are goin to do 3 experiments:
1. using a triple beam balance
2. somethin about precipitation, ionic equations ect
3. reactivity series

this is jus to give us a rough idea of what to study for.

anybody got any idea of what they might be?

any help would be great

1st I have no idea, 2nd would probably be determining unknown solutions by precipitation reactions, possibly the same with the last one but with displacement reactions...

I'd say make sure you know your solubility rules for the second one for sure!
Chances are you will be given a few unknown substances and be asked to determine what they are using precipitation reactions with other substances.
I have no idea what the first one is!!! I certainly didnt do it in year 11!!!!

well the triple beam balance will measure the mixtures and solutions. the precipitation may be something to do with determining the amount of something in the mixture and also the reactivity is just about displacement of less reactive elements from mixtures by more reactive elements.
well thats just a plain over view of what u might be expecting in ur prac to come.

hey y are u using TBB u should be using electronic scales they are more accurate those TBB are dodgy and cna affect the results by far.
