For our prac assessment (weighting 35%), our teacher has literally told us that it is an experiment on acids and bases and that we need to know the solubility rules. We will be provided a method on the day. I'm just wondering.. does anyone have any idea what this prac could be? At first I thought perhaps a conductimetric titration (because she made us do one randomly) but conductivity isn't even in the hsc syllabus so it would seem wrong if we were to have an assessment based on conductivity. Here is what she has written in the assessment notification:

Girls will conduct an experiment involving acids and bases, and the solubility rules, following the instructions provided and using the equipment provided.
Part of the knowledge that will be assessed is the use of appropriate formulas, solubility rules and equations in calculations.
Girls will perform a safety analysis of the experiment and apply appropriate procedures in conducting the experiment, and disposing of waste material.
Girls may bring in a periodic table, a ruler, a pencil, pen and a calculator.
The results will need to be gathered, graphed and processed. The calculations form the graphed data will be outlined in the instructions.
The reliability of results will need to be assessed and improvements on the technology and design of the experiment should be discussed.
Explanation and analysis of the results obtained.
The output will be answers to a series of questions in the space provided.

THANKS SO MUCHHH!!
