It's really hot and I've been here for too long, without actually getting much done for myself.

Predictions will never stop, until very early tomorrow morning, if not until 9am.

I thought you might need a hand, so I decided to 'start' before you with the masses.

Some were helpful, some were annoying, some kept PMing me and wanted to tell me what to do.

Most were polite, but you do have the "you must do this for me, or else I'll never talk to you again" attitude - not only was it on bored, but it was personally too (emails, MSN messages).

People who would never, under ordinary circumstances speak to me, decided to annoy the living daylights out of me.

At least my nickname/status is "a slight" deterrent.
You just have to get pissed off for people to listen to you/take you seriously.
