net foreign debt is the difference between foreign debt investment in australia, and australian debt investment overseas (debt investment being the purchase of bonds, treasury notes, and the like). on the other hand, the current account deficit is the difference between the export income and import expenditure on goods and services, the net incomes deficit (ie. the difference between flows of interest, dividends etc. out of australia and into australia), and current transfers.
hope this helps :)
