!*URGENT*! dioxin chemical test

hey guys,
sorry this is a bit last minute but for my assessment i'm struggling to find the chemical test used to monitor the presence and level of dioxin in waterways...
does anyone happen to know? :p

This is what i have written so far...however i need a detailed method... the only problem is everything i have been reading re: HRGC/HRMS is so jolly confusing. I seriously do not get the method... but anyway this it what i've got...

The presence of dioxins require a highly sophisticated method to present results as the readings may be extremely minute, but nevertheless they are significant. Dilution High Resolution Gas Chromatography/High Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRGC/HRMS) is used in dioxin detection.
Results are measured in parts per trillion (ppt)...
