he didnt.....the verses in the quran were brought down from god by the angel Gabrielle....and mohammad put them together and delievered the book to the ppl.

and yes...muslim women must cover their hair, and their bodies up to their wrists and ankles....those who dont have made a choice not to however god dosent give us this choice...if it was a choice u wouldnt see millions of women wearing it....hopefully those who dont wear it will wear it sooner or later.....

I'm not looking for a religion. I made my mind up about religion a long, long time ago.


I question the compassion of your so called God the most.
Hundreds of African babies are born each day infected with AIDS. now, going by your standards, these are unmarked people who have not sinned... Yet before they take their first breath, theyve been given the death sentence.

A murderer can repent his sins, and has the opportunity to go to heaven and be forgiven by God, if he truly asks for forgiveness.
What about his victims? What about the victim that doesn't believe in God, but never had the chance to seek forgiveness. Where do they go?

What about the people who have died in holy wars. What about the death and destruction caused in the name of God.

edit: murderers evn if they ask for forgivness will be punished for quite some time before they are allowed into heaven.......gods justice system is not like our corrupt one....he dosent make mistakes....and every one ends up taking their share...the one they deserve...victims are compensated and murderers punished......and all those who killed wrongly in the name of god will be severly punished for twisting his words to suit their situations....

GOD does exist and there are many resons which support his existence. As human beings we must ask ourselves a few questions:

who created the earth?
who created human beings?
how does are human body function?

When you try to answer these questions you probably will think to yourself, humans couldn't have evolved by themselves or function by themselves. Human logic and belief will tell us that a supernatural being must have created the earth, human beings, animals, the sky and nature. This supernatural and divine being is "GOD" who has shaped and formed the earth and human beings. Without "GOD", the earth wouldn't exist and we as human beings wouldn't exist. So does "GOD" exist, he sure does and we should believe in him and his saving power and abilities, believing in him will lead to a more fulfilled and abundant life that will make us more happy with life. Believe in JESUS and his saving power and the fact that he died on the Cross for human sin. The least we could do is acknowledge "GOD" and "JESUS" for the great things they have done and for the great life they have given us. Even in times of trouble and especially in times of trouble look to GOD and JESUS and you will see light at the end of the tunnel. GOD bless you all and go in peace.

In Islam whoever, this cannot be the case, because, Muhammed (who is a messenger of Allah) (pbuh), was never schooled. He never knew how to read or write. He was not literate, so what you say about biased opinions in textuality could have never occured through him. He simply said what he was meant to say, and a scribe (eg Abdullah, faithful) would write it down. He was a Shephard. And this isn't just myth, its a historical fact. Historians around the world have studied him. So then, how can a man with no literate background simply 'make this stuff up?', how can he purposely place gender constructs and inequalities when he didn't know about textuality?

I would say that bias in a text written by one person would be far greater than a text written by many people.
With a text written by many people, any bias can be seen clearly.

An uneducated man could create a great text, without the assistance of God. Plenty of people are born with incredible abilities, that allows them to create masterpieces.

Yes they could have. Single cell organisms were the first point of human evolution millions and millions and millions of years ago, altho I don't expect you christians or whatever, out there to accept that, because according to your 'word of god' the world only came into existence about 6000 years ago.
