has anyone attended these lectures at usyd before?

i saw a brochure bout it in my school library today for a 3-day study day program in the term 3 holidays. since i dont normally study well on my own, i thought i could do with the extra motivation an 'official' day like that would bring, heh  the extra tips and advice from the lecturers is of course a plus.

buuut yeah, does this actually have a good rep? any help or a waste of time and money?

Hmm, yeah I have seen it around too, I don't know, seems like a waste of time to me, i don't think there is anything they are going to say that you teachers haven't already.
