As someone once said- I've got problem with God, just his priests-
I try not to make immature comments about religions (specifically Christianity) considering I used to be one of the gang. Sometimes it does happen though, and I apologise in advance. I wouldn't go as far as saying I respect religion, but I respect your choice to believe in it, no matter how silly I may think it is.

Now I'm not sure if you're the only one here stupid enough to believe your own stupidity, but a person with no intrest in the bible would generally not be interested enough to troll a bible thread and insult christians in the first place.

I don't really know what exactly people like you believe, only that it is just as unfounded and only makes more sense to people who believe it to make more sense, in any case I don't really care, and people who believe the bible or any variety of scintific or religious views probably dont care what you think either, the only thing I really know is that me and most people in this thread think that you are a fucking moron.

p.s. I've never read the bible or any other holy book.

I really love this...
The apostles were arrested for proclaiming Christ. When they refused to stop even by threat of death, it's really interesting what happens:

"A Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men (the apostles) be put outside for a little while. Then he addressed them:
"Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men (they wanted to kill them). Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."
His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.

Amazing.

These verses are also special to me:

Romans 5:7-8
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

and also, Rev 21:3-8

Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him, but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her?

(1 Corinthians 11:14-15)

I'm no christian, but this really moves me.

*snicker*

There's no Satan, there's just god when he's drunk.

But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ. Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying disgraces his head. But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for she is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved. For if a woman does not cover her head, let her also have her hair cut off; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, let her cover her head. For a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man does not originate from woman, but woman from man; for indeed man was not created for the woman's sake, but woman for the man's sake. Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. (1 Corinthians 11:3-10)

Sexual Inequality.

"If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him.
Lovely people no?

If we're all gods Children, what's so special about Jesus?
