I think this forum is lacking a thread like this, after all, these are the people responsible for the books we're talking about. I'll start.

Ian Rankin- Scottish detective books. Inspector Rebus.
Chuck Palahniuk- American life reflections. Quite depresseing- quotes in sig.
Christopher Brookmyer- Dark, mysterious, sexy crime.
Sue Townsend- Adrian Mole, do I need to say more?

Loved it. Everything about it. Apparently there's a movie being made. Thinking of having Nicholas Cage play Tender. Could be good, though he'd need to put on some weight. But I suppose that didn't stop Kevin Spacey playing Quoyle in THe Shipping News.

i like jane austen too dont worry, i love janet evanovich for just lighthearted fun im a really big fan of matthew reilly, and i dont mind bryce courtney my english teacher thinks im mad for liking him but oh well...
