yeah, i heard Van der Vaart might be going to Liverpool, but then again everyone is linked with an english team
W000000T!!! That would be awesome indeed, we could get rid of crap players like Heskey and Smicer and slot in Cisse and Van der Vaart. Then again both Owen and Baros> Cisse when in form anyway, so I'm not really sure where Houllier intends to play him.. if indeed Houllier is still there by the end of the season. Then again Owen might really be off by the end of the season as well.. depressing thought

Van der Vaart's mother is Spanish and also are his origins. Dont be surprised to see him play in Iberia.

Valencia or Barcelona are most likely, as Real Madrid seem more interested in Joquin Snchez and those strikers who play in England or something..

Looks lyk the Thai PM will be buying a stake in LFC...

Hopefully Liverpool can buy some decent players now instead of shite lyk Diao, Biscan, Traore, etc., & bring the glory days back to Anfield!

As for Houllier, it would be best for all concerned if he left, he's taken this great club as far as he can.

U talkin abt Phil Thompson?
Nah dont think so, he managed the team for 6months when Houllier had heart surgery a couple of yrs back, Liverpool dropped heaps of pts & cost them a decent shot @ the title that yr.

Liverpool will not be able to reach the level of Manchester, Arsenal and Chelsea for a while to come.

They are just like Newcastle, look like they might catch up and then they take a step back the very next season

No... no we're not. Liverpool is extremely lacking in depth, half the team's composed of rubbish players atm. The thing about Shinawatra buying Liverpool is somewhat interesting though, maybe they'll buy a decent defender to partner Hyypia or Okocha if he leaves Bolton at the end of the seas. Better still they could bring over del Bosque, he's a better manager than Houllier anyday.

So long as Houllier manages Pool's they won't win anything. The team has gone stale. Except for Gerrard, who can't do everything by himself. I mean, what strikers? (Out of form Owen) and defenders? (No, not Biscan!)

liverpool are so crap these days, that even a team like charlton or fulham was beating them for a large majority of this season
