I can't say there was anything in the story that really stood out but that wasn't the reason I choose to watch this film. The reason I wanted to see it was for the historic dogfights with biplanes. If that's what you want, that's what you'll get. I enjoyed it, I love aerial combat, I love the little romantic subplot, I love the cliche characters who try to redeem themselves or have no where else to go. This movie isn't going to make you think about any ideas or force propaganda onto you. This is why it's great.
